Do you know how Malawi looks like at night from the sky?

The picture on the left is how population is distributed in Malawi. Each blue dot represents a household and with a population of 17 million people, no wonder there are so many blue dots. What the map is telling us is that the southern region and the central region of Malawi are the most highly populated regions.
On the other hand, the picture on the right is a real time picture of night time lights. The yellow dots that you see represent spotting of electricity/light at night. As you would imagine, in contrast to the population picture, there are very few areas with light at night because the yellow dots are very few. What this image is telling us is that at night, most of Malawians are in darkness.
